בּלב קרוע ומורתח הרינו מודיעים על מות בּעלי, אבינו, סבנוּ וחותננוּ היקר והנאמן ר' אברהם בּר' בּנימין=אידל הלוי הורוויץ ז"ל גוע ונאסף אל עמו ביום ג' כב' ניסן (אחרון של פסח) תרצ"ט (11.4.39) והובא למנוחת עולמים למחרת באסרו חג בקוברין. בן 73 שנים היה במותו השרויים בצער ובאבל: אשתו, בנו וכלתו, בּנותיו, חתניו ונכדיו.
