A record that probably names him, from Pinkas Pruzhany (1958), says:
די יידישע פאליציי איז געווארן אנגעפירט דורך צוויי שטאלצע יידן. דאס זענען געווען מאיר מאטיל און ליפע זאקהיים. […] דאס זענען די 24 פירער פון פרוזשענער געטא. 22 זענען טויט, אומגעקומען אין די פייערן פון אוישוויץ.
