Death of Shalom Nitzberg

With a boiling and torn heart we announce that the crown of our head, my husband and our dear father, Shalom son of Moshe Leib Nitzberg, of blessed memory, has been taken from us. He died on Monday, 1 Shevat 5698 (3/1/1938), and was buried the same day. In sorrow and grief: his wife, son, daughters, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law and grandchildren.

The worshippers and gabbaim of the Great Beit Midrash share the grief of the Nitzberg, Shapiro and Poretsky families on the death of their husband, father and father-in-law, one of the remnants of the old generation, who was for a long time an important gabbai in our beit midrash, Reb Shalom son of Moshe Leib, of blessed memory.
